Bookmark Collectors Virtual Convention

This is certainly one of the most beautiful and unusual bookmarks I own. There is no indication on it as to who created it or what it was meant to do. The flowers are themselves the bookmarks (see other image). This vase has a paper "foot" behind it that you would pull out to make the vase stand upright like a frame. (Thankfully no one ever used it so it is in perfect condition). 

I could see this on a bookstore's counter where customers might be encouraged to take a bookmark, but is that what it was for? Does anyone know? Submitted by Lauren Roberts.
