I will sheepishly admit to being a member of the Monthly Threads KAL-CAL group, having joined when it was called the MonthlyBookmarksKAL. It's a fine group, and I always planned to start following along. Best laid plans...
And now I have Jen to kick me into gear and actually start crafting again. Keep us up to date with what the Yahoo group is up to, and maybe we can see some of YOUR creations!

Hi, I tried to find this group in the Yahoo. com, but was written in that page, that group doesnt exist.Is it true?

For those who knit and/or crochet, there's a Yahoo group solely devoted to patterns for creating bookmarks. At least one knit and one crochet pattern are posted monthly. The group is owned by Maile Mauch and its name is "MONTHLY THREADS." You can find it at: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/MonthlyThreadsKAL-CAL.
TO JOIN, email your request to: threads@k1p1keepingyouinstitchesstudio.com. You will automatically be sent an e-mail explaining our membership policies, rules, and a membership profile to fill out. (Be aware that some spam filters block all messages from Yahoo and Yahoo groups.)
Our exclusive patterns and tutorials are posted in two formats: .PDF and Plain Text. Patterns also have tutorials, exploring the stitches and techniques members have asked to learn or to perfect. Patterns are kept in the FILES section by month and year; no patterns are emailed. This is a great format to learn how to work with threads from cast-ons to finishing, and tips and techniques in between. We have a design contest for each upcoming month's featured patterns. Winners receive a thread package from Pisgah Yarn & Dyeing Company. Never designed a project? Know how to write a pattern? Check out our tutorials in the FILES section.
I've been a member for about 3 years now and I love the patterns... I have created some (forgive my immodesty) lovely markers!
